Celebrate Down Syndrome

Celebrate Down Syndrome, Inc. provides books to local libraries, hospitals, and new parents, offers supports to new parents by introducing them to experienced parents, and educates and raises awareness through the 3-2-1 Go! Walk held in May and the first educator's conference in June.
. about our New & Expectant Parent Support System
By supplying updated and accurate books to hospitals and doctors offices, we are able to supply expectant and new parents with accurate literature on their baby as well as give them an immediate support group. This group gives us the comfort of knowing that we have the support of others who have been there to give us the knowledge to advocate for our children as well as answer our ever growing list of questions!
. about our Conference for Educators
We are very excited to have Susan Peoples coming here to Lancaster on June 19th and 20th to speak at our educator's conference, which is a combined effort with the IU#13. On June 19th she will be speaking at the IU #13's annual Educator's conference. She will offer a workshop for primary educators in the morning and one for secondary educators in the afternoon. The IU#13 has NEVER offered any workshops related to DS at this conference in the past, so they are very excited to work with us to bring someone to Lancaster. On June 20th, Susan will offer a full day workshop on DS at the IU#13
