E-Man's Fans
The 3-2-1 Go! Walk is coming together again this year on May 12th at the Clipper Stadium.
My son Elijah was diagnosed with Down syndrome at 1 ½ years old. Due to his late diagnosis, we faced many additional challenges. Because of the support from Celebrate Down Syndrome, family and friends, Elijah has grown in so many areas. Elijah is a very loveable little boy. He likes watching Blues Clues, dancing, Sponge Bob, spending time with his sisters, playing ball, and building with blocks. Elijah goes to pre-school, which he loves a lot, and enjoys playing with his friends and teachers. He is so eager to learn and his vocabulary has grown so much. Elijah has overcome many obstacles and will continue to succeed with all the important people in his life - like YOU.
I hope, with our second year at the 3-2-1 Go! Walk, there will be a great turnout. I am excited to be a part of the group that has made this event happen. Please come to enjoy the day with us and celebrate all that Elijah and others with Down syndrome have to offer.
The purpose of this walk is to raise awareness, promote inclusion, and raise money to support families. The money collected is used to purchase new books, provide educational and social opportunities for families, and host an Educator's conference on DS and much more. To find out more information about Celebrate Down Syndrome, you can check out the website at www.celebrateds.org . At the website you can also register for the 3-2-1 Go! Walk and place your donation towards E-Man's Fans.
We look forward to your participation in order to help all of these special children achieve great things. Thanks for your support.
