We are so blessed to have a sweet, active and healthy little girl as part of our family who just happens to have Down syndrome.  Ever since Anna was born we have received so much love and support from our friends and family and it has been a great strength to us, for which we cannot even begin to express our gratitude.

Most of you know that Down syndrome is a chromosomal disorder that affects one of every 800 live births.  It is one of the leading clinical causes of intellectual disability in the world.  Individuals with Down syndrome are at higher risk for medical problems and language delays.  Quality educational programs, along with a stimulating home environment and good medical care, enable individuals with Down syndrome to become contributing members of their families and communities.  We are committed to raising awareness about Down syndrome as well as educating people that a complete and happy life is possible for people with disabilities.
