Thank you for visiting Braylon's Brigade's Step Up Walk Team Page.

Welcome to Braylon's Brigade! Thank you for taking the time to visit our team page. This team was formed to honor James Braylon Williams and to show continued support for the Greater Clear Lake Families Exploring Down Sydrome (GCLFEDS). Our focus is to increase community awareness and support for our loved ones with Down Syndrome that will translate into increased tolerance and advocacy for all individuals with special needs. This is why activities such as the 2011 Step Up for Down Syndrome Walk are so important to our family. Just some background on our little man...James Braylon was born on July 31, 2009. He's a very loving and tenderhearted boy, getting closer and closer to the "Terrible Twos", therefore his curiousity about everything is on the rise. Through the support of our family and friends, his school teachers and aids, therapists, and various doctors, this 2nd year of life has been great for Braylon not only healthwise but developmentally as well. He's an active kid on the move and he's going places. Please consider joining Braylon's Brigade on October 1, 2011 at Big League Dreams Sports Park by registering as a walk participant. If you're unable to attend but would like to contribute to GCLFEDS on behalf of Braylon's Brigade, please consider a donation. The support we received last year was amazing. We'd love to see you and an even bigger crowd this year. Hope you can join us! Sincerely, Ted & Annie Williams About Greater Clear Lake Families Exploring Down Syndrome: - Greater Clear Lake Families Exploring Down Syndrome is a non-profit
organization which serves the families of children and adults with Down
syndrome and interested professionals on the south and east sides of
Houston.
- Founded in 2007, GCLFEDS was formed by parents of children with Down
syndrome who recognized the need for support and resources on the
southeast side of Houston and outlying areas.
- GCLFEDS provides families with support, information and
encouragement to help all individuals with Down syndrome achieve their
dreams.
- GCLFEDS works to insure individuals with Down syndrome are included
in community activities, neighborhood schools and the business
community, to benefit both the individual and their community.
