STEP UP for Down Syndrome!
Please join TEAM JB on Sunday, October 16th from 12-4pm at the Memphis Botanic Garden. STEP UP for Down Syndrome is the largest disability awareness event in the
Mid-South. This local Mid-South celebration is a fun, family-friendly event that
includes live entertainment, a picnic, children's activities, and team and
individual prizes. The day's festivities include a one-mile walk that leads
participants through the beautiful Memphis Botanic Garden. As you STEP UP you
are showing the community that people with Down syndrome lead meaningful lives.
Right here in the Mid-South people with Down syndrome are accomplishing amazing
things everyday! In addition, STEP UP for Down Syndrome raises the funds that
enable DSAM to operate year round.
JB is 7yrs. old and attends 1st grade at Dogwood Elementary. He is a member of Farmington Presbyterian Church. He likes to swim, go to the zoo, play with his sister Bailey & listen to lots of Elvis music.
