IT'S THAT TIME OF YEAR AGAIN TO CELEBRATE AND PUT ON YOUR MARCHING
SHOES.
I JUST WANTED TO START OFF SAYING I AM SO
GRATEFUL TO ALL OF YOU FOR THE LOVE AND SUPPORT YOU HAVE SHOWN NOT ONLY ME BUT
MY FAMILY AS WELL. I WILL ONCE AGAIN BE MARCHING IN THE TARRANT COUNTY
BUDDY WALK ON OCTOBER 15, 2011. PLEASE COME OUT AND JOIN MY TEAM.
THE DOWN SYNDROME PARTNERSHIP OF TARRANT COUNTY HAS BEEN THE MOST INCREDIBLE
GROUP OF PEOPLE WHO HAVE SO ENRICHED MY LIFE. I REALLY WANT TO SHOW THEM
HOW MUCH I APPRECIATE ALL THE EXCITING EVENTS, LOVE AND SUPPORT.

The Buddy Walkr was developed by the National Down Syndrome Society in 1995 to celebrate Down Syndrome Awareness Month in October and to promote acceptance and inclusion of people with Down syndrome. The Buddy Walk has grown from 17 walks in 1995 to nearly 300 walks planned for 2011 worldwide. In 2010, more than $11.2 million was raised nationwide to benefit local programs and services, as well as the national advocacy and public awareness initiatives of NDSS that benefit all individuals with Down syndrome.
Proceeds from the Tarrant County Buddy Walk benefit the Down Syndrome Partnership of Tarrant County (DSPTC) with a portion of the proceeds going to Green Oaks School. See more information about these worthy programs at www.dsptc.org and www.greenoaksschool.org.
