EMPOWERMENT is the process of increasing the capacity of individuals or groups to make choices and to transform those choices into desired actions and outcomes. Join us for this years Buddy Walk and be a part of the empowerment effort for children and adults of ALL abilities! We invite you to join Mikaela and her family and friends to make a difference for ALL children and adults with down syndrome or other special needs to be viewed as people with unique ABILITIES! We are challenging all our friends and families to walk with us and help us raise more money this year..last year we raised over $500 and this year we want to DOUBLE that! If you aren't able to walk with us please consider a donation, your dollars will help promote awareness about Down Syndrome and assist families with gaining access to the resources and knowledge they need to be EMPOWERED!
