As many of you may know, the Buddy Walk will occur RAIN or SHINE so please come prepared. To help with that here are a few tips:
-Bring a compact poncho in case of rain. A large yard trash bag with a few strategically placed holes works great in a pinch.
-Be aware that rain or shine the grass in the parks can have dew in the early morning hours. Be prepared with proper footwear and maybe an extra pair of socks.
-Regardless of the weather you should wear layers this time of year. You may want a backpack or other bag that is easy to carry these extra layers in once you peel them off.

The Treasure Valley Down Syndrome Association (TVDSA) was founded in the early 1980s by Billie Paetel and other parents who had children with Down syndrome. Their goal was to provide support and information, especially to new parents.
Today, TVDSA continues to offer encouragement, support, and information. Anyone is welcome to attend our bi-monthly meetings and our annual events. We want all parents to have what they need to help their child with Down syndrome reach their full potential.
Services we provide to Boise, Meridian, Eagle, Nampa, Mountain Home and surrounding areas:
Programs for people with Down syndrome of all age groups
Resource library containing books and DVDs
Scholarships to local and national conferences
Monthly newsletters containing stories and a calendar
An informative and inspirational guide for new parents

Here are some Frequently Asked Questions regarding registration that may help you complete the process. If your question is not addressed here then please submit it via the Support Request link at the bottom right corner of the site.
Question: I tried to log in but it says my email and password are not valid. I tried the forgot password option and tried the password sent and that does not work either. What do I do?
Solution: We have found that there have been a few email addresses that have been doubled up in the database from past events that may cause this issue. If you contact us via the support link we can resolve this. You can also try a different email address.
Question: I tried to pay with a credit card without having a PayPal account and I was unable to complete the transaction - it wanted me to log in to a PayPal account.
Solution: If the email address that you are using is associated with a PayPal account, PayPal will make you log in to process the payment. If this persists you can try a different email address or pay via check.
Question: I selected the wrong shirt sizes during registration and would like to change them - What do I do?
Solution: If you send an email to the support link including the team and/or individual name of the registrant and the size that the shirt needs to be changed to, we can get an adjustment in. This must be done before the end of online registration on September 22nd.
Question: I have several people that are registering at different times but we need to pay for everyone with one check - What do I do?
Solution: Have a person be the Team Captain and create a team and indicate they will pay by check. Have all your people register under that team, indicating they will pay by check referencing the team captain as the check number. When everyone on the team is registered, the team captain can then send the check for the full amount. We recommend that the Team Captain contact us to verify the total for the team to save the hassle of sending the wrong amount.
