10th Annual Awareness & Fundraising Walk

Lincoln, Nebraska |  | Thank you to everyone who helped make the 10th annual Step up for Down Syndorme Walk such a successful event. It was a gorgeous day for the 56 teams and 1,275 walkers that walked the 1 mile route. We appreciate everyone's hard work and dedication to help us exceed our first goal of $50,000 and almost meet our second goal of $60,000.
If you missed the walk, you can still donate on-line until October 31, 2011.

On-Line Registration is Closed | | We will still be accepting paper registrations until 9:15 am at the walk. To check in or to register, please go to the Auld center upon arrival at Antelope Park.

| Donation Information | | In order to donate, you must register with a valid e-mail address to receive your receipt. If you would like your donation to remain anonymous, simply state so on the Donor Display Name box.
To donate to a team, please click on the team's name to the right of the screen first. Once you are on the team's page, click on "Donate." This will ensure that your donation will go to your favorite team.
To donate in general, from the main page, click on the "Donate" button and complete information as required. If you would like a receipt e-mailed to you, please include an e-mail address when completing the form.
On-line donations will be accepted until October 31, 2011
| FACT POSTERS  | | EARLY BIRD FUNDRAISING INCENTIVE: For every $150 of donations raised, each team may put a parent selected photo of their family member with Down syndrome on a fact poster to be used along the walk route (maximum limit of 3 posters per team) - Deadline Sept 9. (Team registration money does not count toward the poster).
84 posters were earned this year by our amazing families and will feature 35 different individuals. These posters will be displayed along the entire walk course and contain educational facts about Down syndrome. We would like to give a special thank you to Erica Thompson and everyone at Images for a Lifetime, for taking incredible shots of our members and for making the posters. It will be so exciting to see them along the walk route.

A virtual walker is the same as
any other walker except they can't be there the day of the walk. They will count toward the team
walker total for
team awards. It's a great way to support your loved one with Down
syndrome and spread awareness wherever you are
that day.
